SATIN FAILLE CREPE
A silk fabric with 8-shaft warp satin ribbed back, two beams are required. The cloth is two-sided and of a heavy nature. Woven about 45-in. to finish 39/40-in., and contains as many as 1,200 ends per inch, picks about 110 per inch. Weft of the crepe type is used and both warp and weft is about 22 to 30 deniers. As with most crepes this cloth is weighted about 25 per cent.
